On the following pages local creative artists in Langwedel from the areas of arts and craft, literature, painting, music and the local theatre stage present themselves.

The market town of Langwedel wants to support the local artists and offers them consciously also a 'web platform' to create at the same time possible contacts. For that reason the following pages will also present an 'art and culture exchange'.

Art and culture has many initiators and the Internet presence of the market town shows (nearly) the whole range of activities of the most different groups and clubs but also of the public authorities. Now its also online visible how diverse the market town is in this respect. Surfers are able to call up the cultural offer in the region in a compact form and have their concerns forwarded respectively.

The gospel choir Etelsen for example presents itself and repertoire but also uses the platform when singers are needed. In the reverse new citizens who surf the Internet will discover that the choir needs reinforcement. Another is looking for musicians who will play at a wedding party and another might search for a reader.

In addition these pages are to be understood as a Thank You for those people who put themselves out in the cultural area so that Langwedel is an interesting, liveable and modern community.

The community supports the creative artists also with spatial and professional infrastructure. Exemplary we point to the Langwedel culutre days in spring.

1991 - 1996 - participation in courses and seminars at the sculpture atelier POM / Peter Märker, Göldbachstr. 9 in Hamburg-Altona
1996 - 2000 - studies at the free Kunst-Studienstätte Ottersberg / faculty visual art / art therapy
since 2000 - artistic work in my own atelier, Hagener Str. 11, in Langwedel / Hagen-Grinden
