On this 32km long circular course from Achim via Etelsen, Daverden, Thedinghausen and back to Achim you can discover historical traces of love – in trees carved hearts and love stories, which are associated with the historical buildings located along the way.
At weekends and public holidays you have the chance to cross over the Weser river with the ferry near Hagen–Grinden. ... Cycle on along the Weser and then towards the Old Aller river until you reach the 'Allerstraße', turn right direction Schleusenkanal and drive to the crossing 'Schleusenstraße/Dorfstraße/Hagener Straße'. When you turn left and cycle up the 'Dorfstraße' you reach the palace Etelsen, where it is possible to get married 8registry only) again after a pause of 120 years. Well worth seeing are also the mausoleum and the large palace park.

After a short sightseeing break the path will lead you via the Weser barrage with its running-water power station to Intschede and further on to Morsum. The area around Morsum is characterised mostly by meadows and fields. In Nottorf you have the option to take the passenger and bicycle ferry 'Gentsiet', which commutes between Ahsen–Oetzen and Hagen–Grinden to cross over the Weser to shorten the way. Cycle through the marsh landscape with is criss-crossed by typically hedges as well as small deciduous woodlands towards the village Beppen past lovely located farms. .......
