In the year 1864 the completed district court at the Obernstraße still facilitates today parts of the Achimer district court. The entrance to the district court is a beautiful old wooden door with simple ornaments. The prison behind the district court is still in use. Left to the district court a well from the year 1793 has been uncovered and through donations restored („Hungerbrunnen“).
